Pizza is a dish of Italian origin. It is usually round, flattened base of wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese and various other ingredients and is baked at high temperature. In formal settings, like a restaurant, pizza is eaten with knife and fork, but in casual settings it is cut into wedges to be eaten while held in the hand. |Warm Water||1/2 cup|
|All Purpose Flour / Maida||2 cup|
|Active Dry Yeast||1 tsp|
|Olive Oil (or any oil)||3 tsp|
|Water for Kneading||as required|
|Grated Mozzarella Cheese||1 cup|
|Pizza Sauce||as required|
|Sliced Onion||as required|
|Sliced Tomato||as required|
|Sliced Capsicum||as required|
|Sliced Red & Yellow Bell Peppers||as required|
|Sliced Jalapenos||as required|
|Sliced Olives||as required|
|Oregano / Italian Seasonings / Mixed Herbs||as required|
|Chilli Flakes||as required|
|#||Cooking Veg Pizza | Step by Step|
|1||In a mixing bowl, take 1/2 cup of Warm Water, 1 tsp of Sugar, 1 tsp of Active Dry Yeast and allow yeast for 10 Mins. to get activate.|
|2||After 10 Mins, add 2 cup of All Purpose Flour (Maida), 1/2 tsp of Salt, 2 tsp of Oil, Water as required and knead soft and sticky dough.|
|3||Knead the dough nicely for 5 to 10 Mins., tuck the dough into a ball and place in bowl by adding 1 tsp of Oil.|
|4||Cover the bowl and allow it to rest for about 2 hours.|
|5||After 2 hours, the dough doubles in size, punch the dough with fist to release down the air.|
|6||Dust some dry flour on the floor and knead the dough again for more 10 Mins.|
|7||Cut the dough into four equal parts, take the first part and start making the Pizza base.|
|8||Place the one part dough on dusted Pizza plate and flatten by stretching with both hands.|
|9||Leave 1 cm or more to create a dent as shown in the video.|
|10||Now spread 2 tsp of Pizza Sauce generously leaving the sides slightly.|
|11||Then sprinkle grated Mozzarella Cheese all over the Pizza base.|
|12||Then add the toppings like sliced Tomatoes, sliced Capsicum, sliced Red & Yellow Bell Peppers, sliced Jalapenos, sliced Olives and sliced Onions.|
|13||Sprinkle some Chilli Flakes and Mixed herbs along with some more amount of grated Mozzarella Cheese.|
|14||Preheat the Oven at 200° C for about 7 Mins.|
|15||Now place the Pizza tray in the preheated oven and bake the pizza at 200° C for 15 Mins.|
|16||After 15 Mins. remove the Pizza tray from the oven and cut into four equal size.|
|17||Veg Pizza is now ready to serve hot with Coke and Chips.|
