Vada Pav Chutney is a wonderful spicy and flavored mix Chutney, which is traditional Maharashtrian recipe used for spreading in Vada Pav, Toasts, Sandwiches etc. This spicy Garlic Chutney can also be eaten with Jowar or Bajra Roti (Bhakri) by adding just few drops of cooking Oil into the Chutney. This Chutney is also known as TEEKHA CHUTNEY or LASOON CHUTNEY

Here is the recipe of this spicy flavored Vada Pav Chutney, which is made up with the combination of roasted Peanuts, Coconut Powder, Sesame Seeds, Garlic and other spices. These roasted ingredients is then grinded into dry powder form Chutney that is the secret recipe of amazing Vada Pav Recipe (Indian Burger).

Ingredients Quantity
Garlic Cloves ¼ cup
Dry Red Chillies ¾ cup (Less Spicy)
Peanuts / Groundnuts / Mungfali ¼ cup
Coriander Seeds 1 ½ tsp
Sesame Seeds / Til 3 tsp
Grated Dry Coconut 3 tsp
Oil 2 tablespoon
Red Chilli Powder / Lal mirchi 1 tsp
Salt ¾ tsp

# Cooking Vada Pav Chutney | Step by Step
1 In a heating pan add 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow to heat.
2 Then add ¼ cup of Garlic Cloves, ¾ cup of Dry Red Chillies (which are less spicy), 1 ½ tsp of Coriander Seeds, ¼ cup of Peanuts, 3 tsp of Sesame Seeds, 3 tsp of grated dry Coconut and roast on medium flame for 5 to 8 Min or until color changes.
3 Furthermore, add ¾ tsp of Salt, 1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder and mix well for more 2 Mins.
4 Allow the mixture to cool down completely.
5 Then in a mixer grinder, take all the roasted mixture and grind into coarse powder.
6 Vada Pav chutney is now ready to serve with Vada Pav.
