|Semolina / Rava / Sooji||1 cup|
|Cashews / Kaju||½ cup|
|Cumin seeds / Jeera||1 tsp|
|Raisins / Kishmish||1 tsp|
|Curry Leaves||5 to 6 nos|
|Chopped Green Chillies||2 tsp|
|Urad Dal||1 tsp|
|Roasted Chana Dal||1 tsp (optional)|
|Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee||1 tsp|
|Coriander Leaves for Garnishing||as required|
|#||Cooking Shahi Upma | Step by Step|
|1||In a heating pan, roast 1 cup of Rava (Semolina) for 5 to 7 min on low flame.|
|2||In another heating pan, take 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow it to heat up.|
|3||Add 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), ½ cup of Cashews, 1 tsp of Raisins (Kishmish), 1 tsp of roasted Chana Dal, 2 tsp of chopped Green Chillies, few Curry Leaves, 1 tsp of Urad Dal and sauté nicely for 2 Min.|
|4||Then add 3 cup of Water, cover the pan with the lid and simmer on medium flame for 5 Min.|
|5||After 5 Min, add ½ tsp of Sugar, 1 tsp of Salt and give a nice mix.|
|6||Furthermore, add roasted Rava and stir continuously so that no lumps should be form.|
|7||Then add 1 tsp of Desi Ghee and cover the lid again for another 1 min.|
|8||For serving, grease the bowl with Ghee, pour Upma in that and tap down to remove in serving plate.|
|9||Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve hot.|
