Chopped Onion | 1 ½ cup |
Chopped Coriander Leaves | ¼ cup |

---|---|
1 | In mixing bowl, add 1 ¼ cup of Whole Wheat flour (Atta), ½ tsp of Salt, 1 tsp of Oil and 1 ½ tsp of Yogurt (Dahi). |
2 | Mix it well and add Water as required to knead the soft dough. |
3 | Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 20 min. |
4 | In a mixing bowl, take 1 ½ cup of finely chopped Onions, ½ tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ¼ tsp of Garam Masala, ½ tsp of Cumin Powder, ½ tsp of Salt, 2 tsp of Oil, ½ tsp of Sugar, 1 tsp of Lemon Juice, ¼ cup of freshly chopped Coriander Leaves and mix well all together. |
5 | Now the stuffing is ready. |
6 | After 20 Min, knead the dough again for more 2 Min by dusting dry flour over it, take one small portion of the dough ball sized and start to roll into 4 inch round Puri. |
7 | Add 2 tsp of stuffing then pleat the edges into center like potli and seal the dough tightly by removing excess dough. |
8 | Now with the help of dry flour start rolling into round 5 inch slightly thick Paratha. |
9 | Put the Paratha on preheated tawa and roast from both the sides for 1 min. |
10 | Then with 1 tsp of Oil on each side roast again from both the sides on medium flame. |
11 | If required with the help of masher slightly press the Paratha and roast from both the sides. |
12 | In a similar way, make all the Onion Parathas and serve hot with Dahi (Curd). |

Useful Tips
– If the dough gets little sticky and rolling has a problem it is good to add some amount of dry flour to the dough to make it soft and pliable.
