Ingredients Quantity
Cooked Rice 1 ½ cup
Peeled & grated Raw Mango 1 cup
Coriander Leaves ¼ cup
Peanuts / Groundnuts / Mungfali 2 tablespoon
Curry Leaves 2 tablespoon
Slit Green Chillies 4 to 5 small
Mustard Seeds / Rai ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds / Jeera ¼ tsp
Dry Red Chillies 1 nos
Oil 2 tablespoon
Asafetida / Hing ¼ tsp
Turmeric Powder / Haldi ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Desiccated Coconut / Dry Coconut 2 tsp


# Cooking Mango Rice | Step by Step
1 In a cooking pan take 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow it to heat.
2 To that, add ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds (Rai), ¼ tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), ¼ tsp of Hing, 2 tablespoon of Peanuts and roast for 2 Min.
3 Then add 1 small dry Red Chilli, 2 tablespoon of Curry Leaves, few slit green Chillies and mix well.
4 Furthermore, add ½ tsp of Turmeric (Haldi) powder, 1 cup of peeled and grated Raw Mango and stir for 4 to 5 Min.
5 Then add cooked Rice, ½ tsp of Salt, 2 tsp of Desiccated Coconut, ¼ cup of chopped Coriander Leaves and mix well.
6 Toss the Rice nicely until all the Mango stuffing is coated to Rice.
7 Mango Rice is now ready to serve.
