Ingredients Quantity
Green Peas / Matar 1 cup
Water 2 cup
Green Chillies 3 small
Garlic Cloves 2 to 3 nos
Mustard Seeds / Rai ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds / Jeera ¼ tsp
Asafetida / Hing ¼ tsp
Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirchi ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder / Haldi ¼ tsp
Oil 2 tablespoon
Garam Masala ½ tsp
Gram Flour / Besan 2 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Peanut / Groundnut / Mungfali Powder 2 tsp
Desiccated Coconut 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves 3 tsp

# Cooking Green Peas Amti | Step by Step
1 In a mixer grinder, take 1 cup of washed Green Peas, three small Green Chillies, 2 to 3 Garlic Cloves and grind into coarse paste.
2 In a heating pan add 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow to heat.
3 Then add ½ tsp of Mustard seeds, ¼ tsp of Cumin Seeds, ¼ tsp of Hing, grinded Green Peas mixture and sauté for 2 to 3 Min.
4 Then add ½ tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ½ tsp of Garam Masala, ¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder (Haldi), ½ tsp of Salt, 2 tsp of Gram Flour (Besan), 2 tsp of Peanut Powder, mix well and roast for 5 to 6 Min.
5 Furthermore, add 2 cup of Water and give a nice mix.
6 Then add 1 tsp of desiccated Coconut and mix.
7 Cover the lid and simmer on low flame for 8 to 10 Min or until Amti thickens.
8 Lastly add 3 tsp of chopped Coriander Leaves and serve hot with Rice or Chapati.
