|Fresh washed Apple||1 nos|
|Mustard Seeds / Rai||½ tsp|
|Cumin Seeds / Jeera||¼ tsp|
|Asafetida / Hing||¼ tsp|
|Coriander Powder / Dhaniya||¼ tsp|
|Red Chilli Powder / Lal mirchi powder||¼ tsp|
|Turmeric Powder / Haldi||¼ tsp|
|Garam Masala||¼ tsp|
|Sugar Or Jaggery||1 ½ tsp|
|Lemon Juice||1 tsp|
|#||Cooking Apple Launji | Step by Step|
|1||Take a washed Apple and cut into small cubes without peeling off the red skin.|
|2||In a heating pan, add 4 tsp of Oil and heat the Oil.|
|3||Then add ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds (Rai), ¼ tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera) and ¼ tsp of Asafetida (Hing) in a pan.|
|4||Furthermore, add chopped Apples into the pan and sauté the Apples for 1 Min.|
|5||Then add all the spices ¼ tsp of Red Chilli Powder followed by ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ¼ tsp of Coriander Powder and ¼ tsp of Garam Masala into the pan and mix well.|
|6||Add 1 ½ tsp of Sugar or Jaggery and ¼ tsp of Salt as per taste and mix with Apples nicely.|
|7||Then add ½ cup of Water into the pan and cover the pan with a lid and simmer on low flame for 5 – 7 Min or just until the Water gets completely absorbed.|
|8||Then let it cool down completely and add 1 tsp of Lemon juice to the Launji.|
|9||Served as Chutney with Paratha’s or Thepla’s.|
