Ingredients Quantity
Apple 1 nos (Unpeeled and cut into small pieces)
Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds / Jeera 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chillies 1 tsp
Curry Leaves 5 to 6
Groundnuts / Peanuts / Mungfali 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirchi ¼ tsp
Vrat Salt / Sendha Namak ¼ tsp
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Peanut Powder 2 tsp

# Cooking Apple Khichadi | Step by Step
1 In a cooking pan take 2 tsp of Ghee and allow it to heat.
2 Add 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp of chopped Green Chillies followed by few Curry Leaves and 1 tsp of Peanuts.
3 Roast Peanuts for 2 Min nicely.
4 Then add unpeeled Apple pieces and sauté the Apples on medium flame nicely for 3 – 4 Mins.
5 Add ¼ tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ¼ tsp of Vrat Salt and mix well.
6 Then add 1 tsp of Lemon juice, 2 tsp of Peanut Powder and mix well again.
7 Cover the lid and cook on low flame for 2 Mins.
8 Apple Khichadi is ready to serve hot.
